Paula B. Acaldo

Mrs. Acaldo is a 1989 graduate of the Louisiana State University Paralegal Studies Program. She has been employed with Michael C. Palmintier as a Paralegal since June, 1986. In her position as Paralegal, she has participated with Mr. Palmintier in numerous jury trials, bench trials and mediations in the past twenty-three years. Throughout her career, she has attended many legal seminars and training sessions as a continuation of her legal education. Paula has been married to Michael Acaldo for the past eighteen years. They are the parents of twin daughters who are actively involved in dancing and sports. Paula is also actively involved in St. Aloysius Catholic Church and is presently serving a term as a Parish Council Member. In her spare time, Paula enjoys spending time with her family either at her daughters’ dance or sporting events or at various LSU sporting events.

 

Bob Jullens, CLA, LCP, NP

Bob Jullens has worked for Michael C. Palmintier since February, 1996. Born in the Netherlands, he immigrated to the United States in 1981 and remains bilingual. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Southeastern Louisiana University and is a graduate of the Louisiana State University Paralegal Program. He is a Certified Legal Assistant, a Louisiana Certified Paralegal, and a Notary Public. Bob holds memberships in the Louisiana Association For Justice, National Association of Legal Assistants, Baton Rouge Paralegal Association, Louisiana Notary Association, and currently serves as chairman of the Technology Committee for the Louisiana State Paralegal Association, for which he contributes articles to the LSPA newsletter, published quarterly. A US Army veteran, he served with Company C. 2/156 Infantry Battalion (Mech.) during Operation Desert Storm. He is married with two children and in his spare time enjoys sports, West Coast swing dancing, and playing music in several bands.

 

Yvette Meeks

Yvette Meeks has been employed by Michael C. Palmintier since March, 2007.  She serves as Mr. Palmintier’s Legal Secretary and Personal Assistant.  Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Yvette attended half of her high school years at Tara, but graduated from Pearl High School in Pearl, MS. Yvette earned her Legal Secretary Certificate from Louisiana State University.  She is a parishioner at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.  In her spare time, she designs and manages websites, and is involved in graphic design.  She is married with three children and enjoys attending her children’s sporting events with her family.

 

 

 

Angela O’Quinn Ryan

Angela earned her paralegal certificate from Webster Business College in New Port Richey, Florida in 1988.   She has been in the legal field for 22 years and has worked with attorneys in the areas of general law, family law, criminal law and personal injury.  Angela not only has held the position of paralegal but has also simultaneously held the position of office manager for two law firms in the past and was a Notary Public in the State of Florida. She was the founder of “The Louisiana Docket” a magazine published for Louisiana paralegals and legal assistants.  She also founded “Parent to Parent”, a group for parents with troubled teens.  Angela and her husband Stanley have four children and two grandchildren.

 

 

 

 

Wendy Doherty

 Wendy Doherty has been employed by Michael C. Palmintier since September, 2006. She serves as a legal secretary. Prior to joining the Palmintier staff she owned her own company, Trendy Wendy, painting custom murals, furniture and canvases for children's rooms. Wendy is single mother of one and enjoys spending time with son.

 

 

 

 

Charles "Chuck" Maranto

Chuck Maranto has been employed with the firm since November 2006. He is a veteran of both the United States Air Force and the Louisiana Army National Guard, and is a 25 year veteran of the Baton Rouge City Police Department, having retired in 2000. His primary responsibilities include accident scene investigations, evidence control and courier functions. In his spare time, Chuck is active in the Bethany World Prayer Center and currently serves as an usher. When not involved with church activities, Chuck is a big LSU baseball and football fan. He is married with two children and five grandchildren.
